"Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry" Ephesians 4:26. Although at times you and I may get angry, we should not sin. The way to prevent sin is to deal with "the anger before the sun goes down".
There are many reasons why a believer in Jesus Christ should study the Bible. Here are 10 reasons from the book How to Study the Bible by Robert M. West.…
Who needs another ebook reader? That's what I thought when I first heard of Vyrso.com. After a little time using it, I realized that Vyrso is not just another ebook reader. In case you didn't know, and ebook reader is an application that lets you read books on your cell phone and computer.
For those who like reading (on their Android device or iPad / iPhone) I think you will really enjoy Vyrso. What separates Vyrso from other ebook readers is what's called, "One-Touch…
If you are looking to get a new Bible, check out the ESV Study Bible. The ESV Study Bible is one of the most comprehensive study Bibles ever developed. I first picked up a copy from the library to see if I would like it and I’m glad to say it passed the test. I placed an order online and just received my copy a month ago (the burgundy leather edition). All I can say is I’m truly loving it. It’s like having…

First of all I would like to start off by saying that I myself never grew up in a environment of encouragement or positive advise. I believe most of us can relate in some way or another as I grew up I was never pushed to do better in life or pursue any sports not to mention looking towards my future instead I was always put down and looked down upon by my brothers and my…
The human attention span is 30 seconds and most of us retain 20 seconds of the information if were lucky..lol and that’s in the physical realm now let’s get spiritual.

NIV Colossians 3:7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or…Continue

One more, and last one for the day.....well, I figure it this way. I pray and seek the Lord through every assignment at Fuller. He has me set apart at this time to read and study and I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity. I enjoy so much the freedom to study God's word…
Hi Guys, since I have been reflecting on issues that I am passionate about, here is another article written for the Global Theology course on Cross Cultural Training from a western and non-western approach.
This was actually really amazing to see the track record of what God is doing through this Asian ministry in the Phillipines.
Graduation from V.E.T.I. is not the means to licensing although having graduated and received formal Biblical & theological training is a requirement. In other words, graduating from V.E.T.I. does not automatically qualify you to receive a minister’s license. The pastor must submit your name as a candidate and your application for licensing, before the Credential Committee. If you feel called to the ministry we…
My Church Hist I class the bomb! Pastor Eric came with it , he expounded, enlightened and challenged us to give God our best.

Nero had human torches, they were thrown to wild... beasts and beheaded and other kinds of unimaginable tortures were inflicted on Christians. He even set Rome on fire and blamed it on the Christians to promote more… Continue
Philippians 3:12- Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
Paul, in the preceding verses, mentions reasons he may have to be self-confident in himself. A confidence in… Continue

I recall seeing an old, black and white comedy featuring Abbott and Costello doing their famous “Who’s on First” skit. Lou Costello asked Abbott to teach him the names of the player’s on his favorite baseball team, but they couldn’t get passed the first-baseman named “Who”. Whenever Abbott declared that “Who” was on first base, Costello thought he was asking a question… (I guess you had to be there).
Costello was totally lost! Unfortunately, Costello isn’t the only one confused. When… Continue
