Nick Gonzalez Do not let the sun go down .....

Here is a thought to help start this new year fresh.

"Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry"  Ephesians 4:26.   Although at times you and I may get angry, we should not sin.  The way to prevent sin is to deal with "the anger before the sun goes down".

Nick Gonzalez My Favorite Study Bible

If you are looking to get a new Bible, check out the ESV Study Bible.  The ESV Study Bible is one of the most comprehensive study Bibles ever developed.   I first picked up a copy from the library to see if I would like it and I’m glad to say it passed the test.  I placed an order online and just received my copy a month ago (the burgundy leather edition). All I can say is I’m truly loving it. It’s like having…

The human attention span is 30 seconds and most of us retain 20 seconds of the information if were lucky..lol and that’s in the physical realm now let’s get spiritual.

The enemy (devil) “yes he exists” has 24hrs including in our dreams to present his offers and suggestions into our minds which i may include is a battle-feld in itself. Imagine a radio station playing in our minds all day, and on that radio station many commercials will be…

Ernie Deporto Establishing A Church

NIV Colossians 3:7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or… Continue

Stephanie Starting Point for licensing

How do I get licensed?

Graduation from V.E.T.I. is not the means to licensing although having graduated and received formal Biblical & theological training is a requirement. In other words, graduating from V.E.T.I. does not automatically qualify you to receive a minister’s license. The pastor must submit your name as a candidate and your application for licensing, before the Credential Committee. If you feel called to the ministry we…

Damishe Greenwood-Walker Church HIst I with Pastor Eric

My Church Hist I class the bomb! Pastor Eric came with it , he expounded, enlightened and challenged us to give God our best.

Stop complaining when the Church has been persecuted for years. They went through so much more than we have ever seen or could even imagine.

Nero had human torches, they were thrown to wild... beasts and beheaded and other kinds of unimaginable tortures were inflicted on Christians. He even set Rome on fire and blamed it on the Christians to promote more… Continue

Jorge Ruiz Philippians 3:12

Philippians 3:12- Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.

Paul, in the preceding verses, mentions reasons he may have to be self-confident in himself. Having a self-confidence that is rooted in Christ is healthy; being confident that you are a child of God, confident in the calling He has placed on your life, confident of the gifting He has bestowed upon you is healthy. A confidence in… Continue

Kevin Young Where there is no Revelation...

I recall seeing an old, black and white comedy featuring Abbott and Costello doing their famous “Who’s on First” skit. Lou Costello asked Abbott to teach him the names of the player’s on his favorite baseball team, but they couldn’t get passed the first-baseman named “Who”. Whenever Abbott declared that “Who” was on first base, Costello thought he was asking a question… (I guess you had to be there).

Costello was totally lost! Unfortunately, Costello isn’t the only one confused. When… Continue
